Trichocereus bridgesii ( Achuma )Achuma cacti is grown both as a hedge plant and placed on top of walls as protection for gardens. It is a fast-growing columnar cactus grows 5 meters high, branching at the base.
In La Paz Trichocereus bridgesii was traditionally used as a sacrament by the Indians and was also popular amongst the young people "for its stimulating effects upon the psyche".
This unique and stunning cactus has grown to become our favorite Trichocereus species for it's character and spirit, and of course its formidable, drooping, four-inch-long spines. One seed pack is approximately 25 seeds in each pack.
