Tagetes lucida (Mexican Mint Marigold, Pericon, Yauhtli)
Mexican Mint Marigold is a perennial herb native to Mexico. The Aztecs used Tagetes lucida in ritualistic incenses known as yyauhtl, while other tribes traditionally combined this plant with Nicotiana rustica in a smoking mixture used when taking peyote or other hallucinogens.
SALE!! We got a new shipment of Mexican Mint Marigold in, but the quality wasn't up to our usual standards. It wasn't chopped up nearly as well or as cleanly as we like and there were more large stems than normal. Rather than grinding it down and spending a lot of time sorting it, we're selling it in bulk real cheap. Sold in Kilos only. 1 Kilo of Rough-Cut Mexican Mint Marigold for $50.
Botanical name: Tagetes lucida
Common name: Mexican mint marigold, Mexican tarragon, etc.
