Lemon Peel ( Citrus limon )
Lemon Peel is good at stimulating the digestive tract and promoting good digestion, used to calm an upset stomach, ease colic and indigestion.
The lemon peel is full of nutrition. It has vitamin C to help build the immune system and citrus bioflavonoid for healthier circulation. It has been used to aid digestion, helping ease colic, indigestion, upset stomach, and vomiting. When added to herbal teas it gives an added aroma and enhances the taste.
Lemon Peel can also be used as a refreshing incense!
Try one of these receipes:
Prosperity Incense
Mix together:
2 parts frankincense
1 part cinnamon
1 part nutmeg
1 part lemon balm
1/2 part orange peel
/2 part lemon peel
Thoroughly grind all ingredients in a mortar and pestle.
Burn over smoldering charcoal.
Solstice Citrus Incense
Mix together:
1 tbsp dry Orange Peel
1 tbsp dry Grapefruit Peel
1 tbsp dry Lemon Peel
1 tbsp dry Tangerine Peel
1 tsp Orange extract
1 tsp Lemon extract
Thoroughly grind all dry ingredients in a mortar and pestle.
Add liquid ingredients and mix thoroughly
Burn over smoldering charcoal.
House Blessing Incense
Mix together:
2 tbsp dry lemon peel
1 tbsp Rosemary
1 tbsp Almond extract
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 pinch Garlic skins
1 tsp Anise seeds
1 tsp Allspice
1 tsp Coconut extract
1 pinch Salt
Thoroughly grind all dry ingredients in a mortar and pestle.
Add liquid ingredients and mix thoroughly
Burn over smoldering charcoal.
Don't forget the essential prepackaged charcoal tablet. Use our high quality charcoal tablet to burn any natural resin incense, plants, herbs, or other natural materials. Natural resins do not work well with direct flame and needs a heated source that is not too hot.
