Guarana beans (Paullinia cupana) is a climbing shrub native to Brazil and Uruguay. The Guarana beans contain caffeine.

Presently, guaraná is taken daily as a health tonic by millions of Brazilians, who believe it helps overcome heat fatigue, combats premature aging, detoxifies the blood, and is useful for intestinal gas, obesity, dyspepsia, fatigue, and arteriosclerosis.
Suggested Use: 500-1000mg taken 1-2 times daily. Do not exceed 2000mg (2 grams) daily.
