Astrophytum myriostigma--Bishop's Cap Cactus
The Bishop's Cap cactus is held sacred by the Tahurumaras who regarded it as Peyotillo or a false peyote. It has been over harvested by cactus poachers and we sell it for propagational purposes only.
The attractive Bishop's Cap is relatively resistant to frost and can survive temperatures down to 20F. Keep Astrophytum myriostigma dry during winter months. If fertilized in the spring and summer it's growth will increase. The stem can attain lengths of 3 feet.
Our small Bishops Cap Cacti are approximately 4 inches tall and well rooted.
Bishops Cap are shipped bare root.
