So you've heard some crazy stuff about Salvia divinorum, huh? Now what?

Well, you've found us. That's a start. But Salvia is just the beginning. There's a whole new, fantastic world of Entheogens you've stumbled upon. Be sure to checkout our home page, Ethnobotanical page and, especially, www.erowid.org for more info.

IF YOU'RE WONDERING WHERE TO START, but aren't sure what all different options of Salvia divinorum are, here's the little Cliff's Notes explanation. The Salvia divinorum 5x, 10x, 15x and 20x extracts are an enhanced-leaf extract, meaning they are in crushed leaf form. Still a dry leaf, easy to burn as incense, but they contain 5, 10, 15 and 20 TIMES the potency of Salvinorin A (the active chemical in Salvia divinorum) as plain, dried foliage. You could consider the Salvia foliage 1x, if you want.

The extracts are definitely the most commonly sold items. Our extracts are of extremely-high quality. The most commonly sold Salvia extracts are the Salvia 10x and the 20x. If you're not familiar with Salvia divinorum, we recommend the 5x or the 10x.

Now for the general info... Salvia divinorum is one of about 2,000 varieties of sage.

Although it has been known and used for centuries by the Mazatec Indians, the use was concentrated in a small area in the Oaxacan Mountains and wasn't known outside of its extremely limited range until a Gordon Wasson-Albert Hoffman expedition in 1962.

Salvia divinorum was highly esteemed by the Mazatecs and was believed to be a magical herb. It was used for everything from healing the sick to ceremonially induced visionary states for religion.

Our Salvia divinorum extract is produced from high-quality, organic foliage grown in Oaxaca, Mexico by Mazatec American Indians.

Salvia Divinorum is illegal in: Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma and Virginia.
All orders from those states will be canceled and refunded.
